Antonio Rüdiger believes Eden Hazard would be the best player in the world but for one rival who comes out on top.
The Chelsea defender believes his team-mate at Stamford Bridge is only second to Lionel Messi in world football.
Hazard reached the World Cup semi-finals with Belgium this summer and had been tipped for a move away from the Blues.
However, the 27-year-old remained in west London and Rüdiger believes he is the best but for Messi.
Also reserving special praise for one talented youngster he told the Daily Mail: “Kylian Mbappé is unbelievably fast, really good. To stop him, you have to do it as a team, because alone … good luck!
“But for me, the best in the world is Messi, then Hazard.”
