Ángel Di María has announced that he will bring the curtain down on a 15-year spell with Argentina next summer.

“I will leave Argentina national team after Copa América – it’s over for me,” he told Argentine radio station Urbana Play.

“I hugged Messi at PSG and told him: the only thing I’m grateful for is to have been able to play with you in a club, to be able to see you every day.”

Argentina will take on Peru in their next World Cup qualifier later on Tuesday.
