Andrey Santos returns to Racing | OneFootball

After an initial loan of a few months, Brazilian Andrey Santos is back in Racing colors for the 2024-2025 season.

Andrey Santos was one of last season’s revelations in Ligue 1. After arriving on loan from Chelsea in February, the Brazilian quickly established himself as an essential link in Alsace’s midfield.

First voted “ Young Talent of the month ‘ by the Ligue de Football Professionnel among all the league’s players in March, the Brazilian international was then named ’ Player of the month ” by Racing fans in April and May. During his first visit to Alsace, Andrey Santos scored the winning goal against Metz on May 12 (2-1).

Despite interest from a number of leading European clubs, the Brazilian returns to defend Racing’s colors for the 2024-2025 season. He will wear number 8.
