Het Nieuwsblad are reporting that Anderlecht are looking into the prospect of signing Swedish left-back Samuel Dahl. The 21-year-old currently plays in the top flight of Swedish football for Stockholm based Djurgårdens IF. Dahl has started all three of his sides games to open the new Allsvenskan season, grabbing an assist already. He has also been capped a handful of times at U21 level by the Swedish national team.
Anderlecht may well see Dahl as a long-term replacement for Ludwig Augustinsson. The 29-year-old Swedish defender joined Anderlecht on loan at the beginning of the season from Sevilla. With his contract in Spain up next season, Anderlecht may well be able to pursue a permanent deal in the summer. If not, they may then opt to go for Dahl instead.
At the weekend the side overcame city rivals Union St Gilloise to jump into first place in the Belgian Pro League.
