Voetbalkrant are reporting that Anderlecht are looking to sign Nathaniel Adjei during the winter window. However, the 21-year-old defender is also on the radar of a number of sides, including Leeds United, QPR, Rangers and Middlesbrough. Adjei plays for Swedish side Hammarby and played 21 Allsvenskan games this season, scoring one goal. The Stockholm based side finished seventh in the league during the 2023 season.

Adjei has been capped at youth level by Ghana and is expected to cost around €3-4m. The site has also reported that Standard Liege were interested in the defender, but the price tag is likely to see them unable to afford the transfer. It makes sense for Anderlecht to look to sign another central defender, considering how light they are defensively. At the moment they are wholly reliant on Zeno Debast and an ageing Jan Vertonghen.
