Carlo Ancelotti will be taking charge of his 800th league game this evening and the Italian manager will reach this landmark at Mestalla when Real Madrid take on Valencia. The match will be his 81st in the Spanish competition at the helm of Madrid, after 76 games between 2013 and 2015 along with the five (including today’s game) in his second spell at the club.

Ancelotti’s career as a top-flight manager began in 1996 with Parma, where he managed the side for 68 league outings. He then managed Juventus (84), AC Milan (283), Chelsea (76), PSG (57), Bayern Munich (40), Napoli (53) and Everton (58). Carlo has been in charge of several of the most prestigious teams over the top five European leagues and has won league titles in Italy, England, France and Germany.
