Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has raised the name of Everton striker Richarlison as they seek a new attacking signing.

El Confidencial says neither reserve strikers Luka Jovic nor Mariano Diaz have convinced him, and he is happy to see both go, with Madrid working hard to find a suitor for the former, which is a task that is easier said than done.

As a replacement, Ancelotti wants a 'second-tier striker', a player who will score goals but not cost a lot of money and has put forward the name of Everton's Richarlison as the ideal target.

He knows the Brazilian after his time at Everton and is also aware that Madrid are happy to count on the Brazilian market via their head of scouting Juni Calafat.
