Sky Germany reports that an unnamed Premier League club has approached Bayer Leverkusen with an inquiry about the availability of striker Victor Boniface.

However, the Nigerian is currently not for sale and Leverkusen wishes to keep Boniface for another season. In the case that Leverkusen are interested in selling Boniface, then a fee of at least €55m would only open Leverkusen to initial negotiations.

Boniface only joined Leverkusen from Union-Saint Gilloise in Belgium in the summer. In his first season, the 23-year-old has 10 goals and seven assists in 16 games but he has been out with an abductor injury since January.

Sky Germany also reports that Leverkusen are already looking at potential replacements. Maximilian Beier is of interest to Leverkusen either as a replacement for Boniface or Adam Hlozek. However, a move for the Hoffenheim striker will likely be expensive as he has a release clause valued at €30m in the summer on top of the wages and other fees involved in the deal.
