A central defender playing for Rapid Vienna in the Austrian Bundesliga, the 20-year-old recently met with Zied Jaziri, sporting director of the FTF, to finalize the details of his switch in sporting nationality.

Born in Vienna, the 1.90 m tall center-back played for Austria's youth teams before deciding to represent the Carthage Eagles at senior international level.

It remains to be seen whether his name will appear on Sami Trabelsi's next squad list, expected on August 30, 2025, and whether he'll bolster Tunisia's defensive ranks for upcoming challenges, most notably the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Tunisia will face Liberia on September 4 in Rades before traveling four days later to Equatorial Guinea for the 7th and 8th rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
