American goalkeeper Diego Kochen signs new Barcelona deal

American goalkeeper Diego Kochen has signed a new deal with Barcelona.

The 15-year-old signed a renewal with the Catalan club on Tuesday, a statement revealed, alongside director Joan Soler Ferrer and academy director José Ramón Alexanco.

Kochen was born in Miami in 2006 and is the son of a Venezuelan father and a Peruvian mother. He has represented the United States at youth level.

In their statement, Barça thanked "the Kochen family for their continued faith in La Masia for the development of their son as a player and a person."
