From the Austrian Alps to Andalucia, North Carolina to just north of Chiswick, there's been some exceptional goals already in this 2024/25 pre-season.

Here's our round-up of the best.

Ryan Towler - Portsmouth

We couldn't start this list without this absolute stunner from Portsmouth centre-back Ryan Towler. Up against local lower league side Bognor Regis, the towering defender netted a goal he'll never likely score again

Máximo Perrone - Manchester City

City took on Celtic in North Carolina on Tuesday evening and went down 4-3 in a brilliantly entertaining clash. The highlight of the evening for Pep Guardiola's side though, was this superb goal from the young Argentine.

Robbie Brady - Preston

Arne Slot's first game in charge of Liverpool ended on a downer as Championship side Preston beat the Reds 1-0 in a behind-closed-doors clash. Former Ireland international Robbie Brady bagged this stunner early in the first half.

Corentin Tolisso - Lyon

Lyon travelled to Austria this summer and faced WSG Tirol in their opening friendly. Ex-midfield wonderkid Corentin Tolisso reminded us all what could have been with this glorious effort.

Yves Bissouma - Tottenham

A Brazil 1970-esque goal from Tottenham on Saturday as they kicked off their summer with a 2-0 win over QPR. Yves Bissouma was the finisher who, on this evidence, could be in for a big season.

Omar Richards - Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest took on Sunderland on Murcia last Friday with Omar Richards equalising with this absolute peach.

Eliot Matazo - Monaco

Monaco are another French side who have gone to the Alps this pre-season with Eliot Matazo showing his class in front of goal with this crisp finish against Sturm Graz.

Andy Irving - West Ham

Andy Irving might be a new name to West Ham fans but the Scottish midfielder has been with them since last summer but previously loaned out to Austria Klagenfurt. Irving is back in east London now though and scored this cracker against Dagenham and Redbridge.

Alessandro Florenzi - Milan

Alessandro Florenzi got the Paulo Fonseca era underway at Milan with this lovely goal against Rapid Wien.

Mehdi Taremi - Inter

Mehdi Taremi completed his long-awaited move to Inter this summer and immediately got on the scoresheet with this cool strike in a friendly against Pergolettese.
