Rangers have confirmed that Alfredo Morelos has signed a new contract with the club.
It will come as great news to the Ibrox faithful with the Colombian forward extending his deal until 2023.
Morelos has been in sensational form so far this season, with his goalscoring exploits attracting the attention of some of Europe’s leading clubs.
Borussia Dortmund, Nice and Leicester have all showed an interest in the 22-year-old, but the South American hitman has today penned a new deal to keep him in Scotland for the foreseeable future.
In a statement he said: “It did not take me long to agree this extension because my career has progressed quicker and better than I could have expected when I joined this great club.
“I have come to realise just how special Rangers is and what it means to so many people around the world. Also, I feel a strong connection with the fans and they have made me feel special.”
