Djeidi Gassama has only been a Rangers player for a matter of weeks, but he is quickly turning into the club's main man, and certainly the man for the big occasion.
The winger had already grabbed a goal in both legs of the second qualifying round win over Panathinaikos, and made it three on the spin in Europe with a fine brace against Viktoria Plzeň at Ibrox.
It was a lovely bit of link play with Cyriel Dessers that allowed the winger the chance to curl the ball home from inside the box to send the home fans wild.
After Dessers doubled the Gers' lead on the stroke of half-time, Gassama got his second shortly after the break, heading home following fine work from fellow new boys Max Aarons and the brilliantly named Oliver Antman.
The 3-0 lead puts Russell Martin's men in a brilliant position to qualify for the playoff round.
It's safe to say Gassama has already paid off the transfer fee paid to Sheffield Wednesday for his services.
