Alexis Vega fined by Chivas over social media video

As if they didn’t have enough problems on the field, Chivas now have issues outside of it as well as a video began to circulate on social media of Alexis Vega at a party drinking.

According to his contract, this is grounds for a fine.

‘I talked to Vega and he will see an economic sanction,’ said Chivas sports director, Mariano Varela. ‘Of course I talked to him, sometimes it sounds like we don’t apply the regulation and believe me we apply it.’

‘We must turn the page to that topic,’ added Varela. ‘He [Vega] knows that there are moments like this, but he is a good person. He is aware and he knows that there is a regulation and that they must be applied.’
