Guadalajara left a good feeling last weekend on the field of the Agustín 'Coruco' Díaz Stadium, as they won their two matches in the Morelos Cup, and now they will be looking to demonstrate that their performance continues to rise in the Copa por el Bienestar Zacatecas 2025, which will be played this weekend.
This quadrangular in the capital of Zacatecas is already familiar to the Rebaño Sagrado, which participated in the previous edition, in addition to the fact that the Carlos Vega Villalba Stadium is a venue they have visited on several occasions recently, as 6 months ago they played a friendly against the Mineros.
Which teams will participate?
- The tournament will take place from June 27 to 29 at Carlos Vega Villalba Stadium and will host 3 Liga MX teams and one Expansion League team: Chivas, Santos, Cruz Azul and the host Mineros. - Each team will play 2 matches and the Rojiblancos will open their participation on Friday 27th against Santos at 8:30 PM.
How will the Rebaño's second opponent be defined?- The competition format is simple: the winners of the first round will advance to the Final, which will be played on Sunday 29 at 6:30 PM.- On the other hand, the two defeated teams will play for third place on the same Sunday, at 4 PM.- In the event that at the end of regulation time of either game the score is tied, a penalty shootout will be held to decide the winner.
