Alexis Mac Allister has been given a straight red card on his home debut for Liverpool.
The Argentina international joined the Reds from Brighton this summer in a deal worth around €50m.

With Fabinho and Jordan Henderson leaving the club, Mac Allister has been seen as one of their midfield stalwarts for the season to come.
But the World Cup winner has been given his marching orders on his Anfield debut.
It was a foot-up challenge on Ryan Christie and means Liverpool are down to 10 men for the last half an hour, while he will also miss next week’s trip to Newcastle.
