Alexandre Lacazette set to join Saudi Pro League newcomers Neom | OneFootball

Former Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette (34) is on the verge of signing a two-year deal with Saudi Arabian side Neom, according to a report from L’Équipe. The former Arsenal man became a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Olympique Lyonnais this summer, and has reportedly reached a full agreement with Neom, newly promoted to the Saudi Pro League. Lacazette has already completed his medical with the club.After returning to OL in 2022 following a five-year spell at Arsenal, Lacazette scored 43 goals across two seasons in Ligue 1, once again becoming the club’s top scorer and captain. Despite Lyon’s struggles during the 2023–25 period, Lacazette remained one of their most consistent performers.Lacazette will leave Lyon having scored 184 goals in 326 appearances across two spells with the club.GFFN | George Boxall
