Aleksandar Mitrović has become the latest player to make the move from the Premier League to Saudi Arabia.
The 28-year-old has joined Al-Hilal for a fee reported to be worth around €58m inclusive of add-ons and has signed a three-year deal to join Neymar, Ruben Neves and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic at the club.
Fulham released a statement on Saturday evening stating: “The club had reluctantly accepted a revised offer as the player had consistently made his desire to leave known.”
Mitrović played a huge role in getting Fulham promoted back to the Premier League in 2022, breaking the goalscoring record in The Championship after bagging 43 goals in 46 games.
The Serbian shone in the top flight last season, hitting 14 goals as Fulham secured a top 10 finish in the Premier League.
