Bayern Munich have announced their travelling party for the Uefa Super Cup on Thursday, with David Alaba and Javi Martínez both included.

Alaba missed the club’s Bundesliga opener on Friday through injury. Rumours around the Austrian’s long-term future have dominated headlines in recent weeks as he is yet to sign a new contract with the club.

Martínez’s future almost certainly seems to lie elsewhere, with ex-club Athletic interested.

He has, however, travelled with Bayern for Thursday’s game.
