Abderrazak Hamdallah - Al Hilal
Having booked their place in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup, Al Hilal have placed their trust in Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah. Facing the media, Saudi club head coach Simone Inzaghi explained this decision.
In their search for attacking reinforcements ahead of the Club World Cup, Al Hilal rushed to sign Abderrazak Hamdallah as an emergency addition. Coach Simone Inzaghi addressed this decision in a press conference.
"We are delighted to welcome Hamdallah. We 'invited' him and he accepted. He will support Marcos Leonardo in tomorrow's match and I am convinced he will make a difference," Inzaghi stated ahead of the quarter-final clash with Fluminense.
Abderrazak Hamdallah is a familiar face in both Saudi and Moroccan football, now making his return to the spotlight. At 34, Hamdallah joined Al Hilal from Al-Shabab on a special loan deal authorized by FIFA for clubs competing in the Club World Cup.
