Michel Aebischer commented after the match: “Udinese defended very deep and lost a lot of time, we were expecting it. In the first half, we struggled to find spaces but we did better after the break. The red card gave us energy, we reacted as a team and scored, we wanted to bag another one and win but in the end we walk away with a point and we can be proud. This game showed that we are a real team: we can adapt to each passage of play and we make runs for one another. With Sam being sent off, I played as a central defender, players in this side need to know how to adapt to different roles, in training and in games. Now there are four games to go, the next one is the most important. We aren’t looking at others in the table: it all depends on us. From tomorrow, we will be back in training and it will be another battle with Torino on Friday. The fans are unique: they always give us a lot of energy”.
