Since leaving Paris Saint-Germain to join Juventus in 2019, Adrien Rabiot (28) is frequently linked with a return to the Parc des Princes. The Frenchman’s contract with the Serie A club expires at the end of the season and there is yet to be a clear indication as to whether he will remain with Juventus beyond the end of the season. Should Rabiot move on, a return to PSG is “not a priority” as he revealed in a press conference on Tuesday.

Rabiot left Les Parisiens upon the expiry of his contract and his departure was rather acrimonious, with the French club’s fans happy to see the back of him once he did finally make his move to Italy. However, that doesn’t stop him from being frequently linked with a return.

Rabiot ‘flattered’ but not necessarily interested

Amidst the uncertainty surrounding his contract situation with Juventus, Rabiot has been asked about his future at club level whilst on international duty with Les Bleus.

“It’s true that since I left to join Juventus, every summer my name has been linked with PSG. It’s very flattering on the one hand, but it remains difficult when you know how it finished [with PSG]. Of course, as I’ve said, you should never close any door, but that won’t be my priority in any case,” said Rabiot.
