Adam Idah made it four goals in five games for Celtic with an impressive double to help the Hoops to a 3-1 win over Motherwell at Fir Park.

The 23-year-old striker was introduced at the start of the second-half for Kyogo, and headed home an equaliser within six minutes of the restart.

And he put Celtic ahead in added time with his second goal of the game before Luis Palma added a third right at the end.

Speaking to Celtic TV after the game, Idah said: “It was a tough first-half. We spoke at half-time and knew what we needed to do.

'To be fair to everyone in the second-half did that and we got another three points.'

“I said it on the bench that I had a feeling I was going to score and it was just relief when the second went in.

"To do it in front of the fans is amazing and it’s the second time this season, so long may it continue.”

The Republic of Ireland internationalist opened his Celtic account with two penalties in a 2-1 win over Hibernian at Easter Road earlier this month, and followed that up with another double today at Fir Park, with both goals coming from open play.

And he was delighted that some of his friends with in amongst the Celtic supporters at the stadium to celebrate his goals.

“I spotted them in the celebrations so I’m sure they will have a video of that,” Idah said.

'It’s unbelievable and I’m loving life in Glasgow, and training and playing every day.'

"My family and friends are buzzing and they are coming to every game so I’m enjoying life.

“I’ve picked up my game a lot, particularly in the link-up play. It’s the first time I’ve been the centre-piece of the team and that’s a big difference for me. For my development, it’s amazing so I’m enjoying it.

“It’s the mentality – it’s so professional up here. I remember when I first came in and went to the changing room and no one was in because they were all in the gym working hard.

“That’s the biggest thing I’ve noticed and again today there’s a ‘never give up’ attitude and we get the three points.”
