Armando Broja has probably played more than he would have expected this season.

The struggles that both Kai Havertz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have had when leading the line has meant Broja has been given more starts and more nods off the bench than we would have predicted.

But the reality is that a big name striker will be signed sooner rather than later, and even if they’re as disappointing as Romelu Lukaku before them, they will be given a similarly long rope to try and succeed.

That could spell the end of Broja’s chances, so it’s no wonder he’s still considering his exit strategies, and that clubs are still interested in him.

Football Italia report that AC Milan are keen, although there is a catch. The Italian side want him in January, but Chelsea aren’t willing to sell them. Understandably, they reckon they won’t get their own striker until the summer, and will need Broja until then.

It will be interesting to see what he makes of the chances he gets between now and then?
