AC Milan target Ridle Baku dreams of playing in the Premier League | OneFootball

According to Bild, Wolfsburg defender Ridle Baku is hoping to make a move to the Premier League.

As stated in the report, Baku’s contract at the Volkswagen Arena is set to expire next summer, meaning he would be free to leave the club.

However, Wolfsburg are looking to avoid losing the 26-year-old on a free transfer and have, therefore, offered Baku the opportunity to sign a new deal at the club.Nevertheless, the defender elected to turn down the club’s proposal as he seeks a route out of the Bundesliga.

It is understood that AC Milan and Benfica are closely monitoring the full-back’s progress, but neither club have decided to make their interest concrete with three weeks left of the transfer window remaining.

Regardless, Baku is dreaming of a move to the Premier League as well as forcing his way back into the German national team.

In order to do this, the 26-year-old understands that he has to be patient and perform on a consistent basis, which is why he is not averse to remaining at Wolfsburg until next summer.

Despite this, it is believed that this will be Baku’s final campaign at the Volkswagen Arena before he departs in 2025.
