Official: Wolfsburg send Franjic to Italy on loan

Bartol Franjic will spend the 2025/26 season out on loan, VfL Wolfsburg have confirmed.

The 25-year-old has joined Italian Serie B side Venezia FC on a season-long loan deal.

Franjic has already been loaned out three times since his reported €7.5 million move from Dinamo Zagreb in 2022.

After spells at Darmstadt, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Dinamo Zagreb, Italy will be the next stop for the defensive midfielder.

He has two years remaining on his contract with Die Wölfe.
