Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville is continuing to attract attention ahead of the summer transfer window.

Following the Elland Road club's relegation from the Premier League at the end of last season, the 22-year-old has enjoyed an outstanding campaign in the Championship.

Summerville has scored 17 goals and provided eight assists in 38 Championship appearances for the club.

That has already seen him nominated for the league's Player of the Season award. It has also prompted plenty of interest in the Dutchman.

Recent reports from HITC claimed that five Premier League clubs - Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham - as well as the European trio of Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Porto are all keen on the Leeds talisman.

Now it seems as though interest in Summerville from elsewhere in Europe is also starting to emerge.

Serie A side enter Summerville race

According to the latest update from FootballTransfers, AC Milan are another club who have now taken an interest in a deal for Summerville.

It is thought that the Italian side are bracing themselves for interest in Rafael Leao from Paris Saint Germain in the summer, amid the expectation that Kylian Mbappe will leave the French capital.

Summerville has then been identified by the Italian giants, as a potential replacement for Leao.

For their part, Leeds will apparently look for a fee in the region of £45million for the sale of the winger, depending on the number of offers they receive.

There are just over two years remaining on Summerville's contract with the club, securing his future at Elland Road until the end of the 2025/25 season.

However, it is claimed that Leeds will offer the winger a sizeable new deal, should they win promotion back to the Premier League, although even then, there is said to be no guarantee he will stay.

Leeds set for dramatic promotion battle

With just five games of their regular season still to play, it could be an eventful and nervous end to the season for Leeds.

They are currently third in the Championship table, just two points adrift of league leaders Leicester City, who do have a game in hand.

Daniel Farke's side are next in action on Tuesday night, when they host Sunderland at Elland Road.

Leeds facing a battle to keep Summerville

It does seem as though Leeds may struggle to keep hold of Summerville for next season, regardless of what division they are in.

The winger has been excellent all season, and if he does continue to produce that form throughout the final weeks of the campaign, interest in his services will surely grow.

Even if Leeds do win promotion back to the Premier League, their main aim for next season will no doubt be to re-establish themselves in the top-flight.

However, these clubs who are interested in Summerville could offer him more stability at this level, as well as the chance to compete for silverware, and in European football.

That could make them more appealing to the winger, while the finances available to those clubs through their backing and success, also means they could come up with bids that are hard for Leeds to reject.

With that in mind, it may be no huge surprise if one way or another, Summerville is on the move again come the summer transfer window.
