Manchester United fans have enjoyed seeing their team reach the top of the table but it has sparked the debate over who has played the most part.

According to the statistics, the team’s front three have put in superb numbers since the last season, with Anthony Martial, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford all involved.

United typically play in a 4-2-3-1 formation but unfortunately, due to the board’s failure to capture a top right-winger, it often means only three of the front four are firing on all cylinders.

Bruno’s arrival last January has certainly been the most catalytic but Martial and Rashford have put in career-high numbers too.

The hope is that all three stars can remain injury-free and in form for the remainder of the season because simply put their alternatives are just not as impactful.

Although these are clearly impressive numbers, there’s still the feeling these three players and even those around them can still improve further.

There isn’t a feeling amongst fans that the squad has reached its potential if anything, many demand even more from the squad because they know higher levels can be reached.

When a natural right-winger, whether it’s Amad Diallo, Facundo Pellistri or someone else brought in, joins the squad, it should mean the trio mentioned above are even more dangerous and exciting.
