Real Madrid thrashed Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabéu to take all three points in their LaLiga meeting. Our team produced a stunning first-half display, hitting four goals to all but put the game to bed inside 45 minutes. Rodrygo opened the scoring following a swift transition and paved the way for Benzema to fire a sublime seven-minute hat-trick. After the break, Asensio got on the scoresheet thanks to Rodrygo's second assist in the game and Hazard set up Lucas Vázquez to complete the rout.

There was an early scare for the home side as Roque Mesa's effort crashed back off the post with only ten minutes gone. Valladolid came close again in the very next move, but Monchu failed to find the target when well-placed inside the box. Those chances were all Madrid needed to spring into life, responding with a four-goal blitz and creating chances at will before half-time. Rodrygo got the finishing exhibition underway for Ancelotti's boys with 22 minutes gone, turning home Asensio's pass in a slick attacking transition. Ten minutes later, Benzema could have had his first when he shot from inside the six-yard box but Asenjo kept him out.

Real Madrid were treating the home fans to some sumptuous football now and they were about to bear witness to the Benzema show. The Frenchman struck three goals in just seven minutes, all of them a joy to watch. The first came with 29 minutes gone, a header from Vini Jr.'s perfect assist. Three minutes later, Asensio raced through against the visiting goalkeeper, who came out on top in a one-on-one. Asenjo was unable to repeat the feat to avoid Benzema's second goal, though. The captain received the ball, dropped his shoulder and beat the opposition shot-stopper with a beautifully placed finish from the edge of the box on 32'. Four minutes later, Rodrygo turned provider and the leading marksman for Ancelotti's team in LaLiga connected with a gorgeous scissor kick to net his fourteenth goal of the campaign in the competition. The second half started just like the first, with a Valladolid shot that came back off the post, this time from Kike Pérez in the 46th minute. Madrid's response arrived with another effort that ended up hitting the upright. Courtois provided the pass from his own goalmouth and Rodrygo did the rest. First, he controlled the ball and beat the defender with some nice footwork but the woodwork would once again prevent Ancelotti's side from scoring a fifth goal from the Brazilian's shot. He would find the net three minutes later however, but his effort was disallowed for a Vini Jr. handball in the build-up.

As the minutes ticked by, Real Madrid continued to attack. Their reward came as Asensio scored in the 73rd minute, getting his just desserts for a great performance, it came from Rodrygo's second assist of the game. From then until the end, Ancelotti's men continued to have chances and Lucas Vázquez scored from a Hazard assist in stoppage time to put the icing on the cake.
