It seems that there is now no doubts that one 21-year-old Premier League player is going to join Chelsea this transfer window.
Of course, we are running out of time now at this point with just five days left in this summer’s transfer window, but Chelsea are still looking to do plenty of business.
Transfer windows always throw up surprises and there was one that surfaced late yesterday afternoon involving Chelsea. Blues fans are now fearful that the club are pulling out of a deal to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, due to agent contact yesterday with Barcelona’s attacking midfielder, Fermin Lopez.
And the other attacker Chelsea want to sign is Alejandro Garnacho. It has become no secret at all that he is looking more and more Chelsea bound every day now, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has been all over this story with a fresh report out on it pretty much on a daily basis. Yesterday he said that Garnacho is ‘clearly going to Chelsea’, and since then he’s been at it again!

In his latest YouTube updates late last night, Fabrizio Romano said on Alejandro Garnacho:
“Garnacho is going to Chelsea. We’re just waiting for formal steps but in my opinion, he’s going to Chelsea.
“Chelsea are still working on Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho.
“These two remain the two priority targets for Chelsea.”
Romano has been on and on about both of these players for months now, imagine if Chelsea fail to sign either of them!?
It would be pretty crazy if that happens. I think Chelsea will get Garnacho, but at this point I’m not so sure about Simons coming.
