Stars from Spanish football’s three biggest clubs secured for themselves places in the official UEFA Champions League Team of the Week.

As much comes owing to their respective exploits in Barcelona’s meeting with Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid’s showdown with Manchester City, and Atlético Madrid’s clash with Borussia Dortmund.

Beginning with Xavi’s Barca, brace-hitter Raphinha and match-winner Andreas Christensen are both rewarded for their exploits at the Parc des Princes by way of inclusions.

Turning attentions towards Real Madrid, Federico Valverde’s stunning equaliser, amid an all-round stellar performance, also earns him a spot in the XI.

And joining are two members of Diego Simeone’s Atlético ranks, too, namely goalscorer Rodrigo De Paul, and creator-in-chief Antoine Griezmann.

Rounding out the Champions League fantasy Team of the Week are Gregor Kobel, Ben White, Joško Gvariol, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden, and Vitinha.
