Now, as confirmed by the Italian journalist himself just recently today, Lamine Yamal is indeed at the Barcelona offices right now. The young talent has finally arrived at the official club offices to sit down and sign his new contract that would extend his stay at the club until 2031, which means that he will be contracted to the club for six more years.

Eager to do more

For a player who continues to be praised by the biggest of names in football and has established himself as one of the world’s best players already, this was simply a matter of time. The player and Barcelona are both more than happy to continue with each other, and Yamal’s extension is now almost guaranteed.

Soon, even the renewal of the €180 million-rated forward, as per his Transfermarkt valuation, will be made official and that would be a massive step for the Catalan club. Despite his young age, Lamine Yamal has managed to help lead the team to win a domestic treble this season, and his hunger for more glory is exactly what makes him the perfect player for Barcelona right now and their project moving forward.
