It is quite natural for players to seek minutes elsewhere when things get competitive at Barcelona. For 17-year-old Guille Fernandez, an exit this summer would likely have made a lot of sense. However, it appears that a departure would now be an unlikely occurrence.
The reason for that is that the player, as highlighted by SPORT, still remains fully committed to Barça. He is fully focused on learning from his seniors and hopes to remain under the guidance of Hansi Flick in the first team.

Moreover, despite recent reports claiming that German outfit Borussia Dortmund is interested in him, no further updates have emerged. While other offers remain on the table, the player’s focus seems to be completely on Barça right now.
At the moment, he is also one of the four Barça Atletic players that still remain with the first team and even travelled to Mallorca for the La Liga opener. That itself should be a good indicator of Hansi Flick’s faith in the player, and the possibilities that he could open up for himself.

Still, some Spanish and European interest in him continues to remain, and both permanent and loan offers are reportedly still on the table. While it remains to be seen if he ends up taking up any of those offers, it seems for now that Fernandez wants to succeed at Barça.
