United were far from their best during the opening 30 minutes, but the Toffees were unable to capitalise due to poor decision-making in the final third.

Marcus Rashford eventually broke the deadlock in the 34th minute. United grew in confidence thereafter and ended up securing a comfortable 4-0 win.

Amad Diallo was the stand-out player in our opinion after an exceptional all-round performance from the right wing-back position.

The Ivorian registered two assists in the second half, but he was also fantastic with other attributes.

The 22-year-old won 12 duels with 100 percent dribbles (4/4) and 100 percent tackles completed (4/4).

He had a passing accuracy of 86 percent. Manchester Evening News gave him a 8/10 rating.

Diallo struggled to nail down a regular starting role under former manager Erik ten Hag, but Amorim has trusted him from the off in the right wing-back position.

The Atalanta graduate repaid the faith with a splendid display against Everton. The onus is on continuing the good form to become an undisputed starter for United.

United have moved within the cusp of the top four with the win. They now face a big challenge on Wednesday night when they take on Arsenal on the road.

Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez are suspended for the London encounter and they could be replaced by Manuel Ugarte and Luke Shaw respectively.

There could be one more change with Rasmus Hojlund leading the line ahead of Joshua Zirkzee.
