Luka Modrić was in Croatia's starting XI as they beat Turkey away from home. The madridista wore the armband for his side, who went ahead through Kovacic with 20 minutes gone. Just before halftime, the former madridista was on target again to make it 0-2. Modrić was taken off with 84 minutes on the clock. Croatia have picked up a draw and a win in this Euro 2024 qualifying campaign so far.
