According to a recent report from MARCA, it has come to light that Real Madrid forward Rodrygo is experiencing an increasingly tense situation regarding his future at the club.

The outlet suggests that what was previously speculation about his potential departure has now escalated into something far more serious, as the Brazil international is said to be unwilling to play for the club again under current conditions.

Sources close to the player suggest that the 24-year-old has been feeling marginalised following the rise of Jude Bellingham and the arrival of Kylian Mbappe, two stars who have effectively altered the attacking hierarchy at the club.

What was once a dynamic Brazilian duo featuring Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo now appears fractured, with the media attention shifting squarely onto Bellingham and Mbappe, leaving Rodrygo sidelined both tactically and emotionally.

Rodrygo is not happy

The tension has reportedly reached a boiling point, with Rodrygo retreating from the public eye and isolating himself at home. Club insiders have observed growing friction not only between Rodrygo and the club hierarchy but also within the dressing room.

His relationship with Vinicius Jr., previously seen as close, has reportedly deteriorated, further compounding the sense of alienation.

Meanwhile, as Xabi Alonso prepares to take over as manager, the outlook for Rodrygo appears uncertain. The incoming coach is believed to favour a frontline consisting of Vinicius, Bellingham, and Mbappe, which could reduce Rodrygo to a secondary role.

For a player who had hoped to establish himself as a core figure at Madrid, this shift in dynamics has left him disillusioned.

The club, meanwhile, is said to be growing frustrated with Rodrygo’s increasingly defiant behaviour. Officials reportedly no longer rule out his departure, especially if his attitude and form do not improve.

Although his talent is undisputed, Real Madrid are not short on elite attackers, and his off-pitch challenges are starting to test the club’s patience.
