No club has yet to contact Bayern Munich over Benjamin Pavard

Kicker reports that Bayern Munich have yet to receive any contact from clubs for defender Benjamin Pavard.

Pavard has made it clear to Bayern that he would like to leave the club this summer, as he would like to play as a central defender at a top club. However, no club that has reportedly shown interest in Pavard has contacted Bayern, this could suggest that the clubs that have previously been interested, see the 26-year-old as a right-back more than a centre-back.

The 26-year-old currently has one year left on his contract, and will not be extending it. Clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester United have previously shown interest in Pavard, who join Bayern for €35m in 2019.

It has previously been reported that Bayern are willing to allow Pavard to leave if they receive as little as €30m due to his expiring contract.

With the impending arrival of Kim Min-Jae and the possibility of Kyle Walker arriving, a sale of Pavard will not only free up space in the wages for Bayern but it will also give them more money to spend on other positions.
