Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk have been INCLUDED in the promotional material for Liverpool’s new 2024/25 Nike home kit despite doubts over their respective futures.

The high-profile trio are all out of contract in 2025 and there have been no indications as yet from the club about any new deals.

Salah, 31, last renewed his contract back in 2022 and is the club’s highest earner, on an estimated £350,000 per week.

Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League made a record-breaking attempt to make Salah the face of the SPL during last summer’s transfer window but the Reds fended off that interest.

Nonetheless with 12 months remaining on his deal from this summer, the Merseyside club could be tempted to cash in should Al-Ittihad come calling again.

Alexander-Arnold linked with Real Madrid

Alexander-Arnold, meanwhile, has been heavily linked with Real Madrid. The right back renewed terms with his boyhood club back in 2021 and is estimated to earn around £180,000 a week.

Real will soon look to move on from Dani Carvajal in the right back area with Alexander-Arnold and the injury-prone Chelsea captain Reece James among the candidates for the Santiago Bernabeu higher-ups.

Trent, 25, fuelled speculation recently by naming Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane as his dream dinner party guests and revealing that current Real star Jude Bellingham was his best friend in the England setup.

Van Dijk attracting interest

Van Dijk, 32, plunged his own future into doubt back in January when he revealed he was ‘curious’ to see how Liverpool would proceed following the departure of Jurgen Klopp and gave no guarantees that he would stay put long term.

The Dutchman, on around £220,000 per week, renewed his contract in 2021 and transfer noise around the club captain has grown louder in recent weeks.
