Roma wait for Palmeiras response on latest Rios offer and prepare new Wesley bid | OneFootball

Roma are close to matching Palmeiras’ asking price for Richard Ríos and could submit a new offer for Flamengo right-back Wesley today.

Roma hope to soon gift Gian Piero Gasperini the first summer reinforcements for the 2025-26 season.

Roma wait for Palmeiras response on Rios

The Giallorossi held talks with Palmeiras on Wednesday night, submitting a new offer of around €30m, including add-ons.

Palmeiras’ asking price is €30m plus bonuses, but the Giallorossi believe they have fulfilled all the requirements to reach an agreement with the Brazilian club.

As far as I know, Roma have not yet booked medical tests for Rios, contrary to reports by other media.

Wesley only wants Roma

One thing is clear: Lens midfielder Neil El Aynaoui has always been Roma’s secondary option for central midfield.

Another possible reinforcement from South America is Flamengo right-back Wesley.

The Giallorossi could send a new offer today, and for now, the Brazilian has rejected any other club as he only wants a move to the Stadio Olimpico.
