It's been a strong start to the 2025/26 Premier League season for Tottenham forward Richarlison.
The Brazilian had failed to score a Premier League goal since April before netting twice in Spurs' opening win against newly-promoted Burnley last week, as the North Londoners kicked off the Thomas Frank era in a positive way.
An even greater test awaited this weekend with a trip to the Etihad to face Manchester City, but Richarlison was once again at the heart of the action for Spurs.
He beat City’s offside trap and ran in behind before delivering an inch-perfect cross for Brennan Johnson to fire Spurs ahead in the first half.
Although he did not register a direct assist, he was also involved in the build-up to Spurs’ second goal, as they forced an error from goalkeeper James Trafford before João Palhinha hammered it home.
