Rennes’ Enzo Le Fée edges closer to AS Roma | OneFootball

After having agreed personal terms with AS Roma, Enzo Le Fée (24) is edging closer to Stade Rennais’ exit as both clubs are close to finding a financial agreement for the transfer of the French midfielder.

Only one season after his transfer from boyhood club Lorient, Enzo Le Fée’s journey at Rennes seems to have already come to an end. With former OGC Nice’s sporting director Florian Ghisolfi now at AS Roma, the Italian side intend to do their transfer business in France and are desperate to sign the French midfielder despite some injury issues and fluctuating performances last season. While Julien Stéphan wants to keep the creative midfielder and make him one of the pillars of his starting XI ahead of next season, the player is willing to start a new challenge abroad.

According to Foot Mercato, AS Roma is edging closer to sealing a deal for the transfer of Le Fée from Rennes. After having declined a first offer of €18M, les Rouges et Noirs are leaning towards accepting their player to leave should Roma accept to meet their €20M valuation, the amount they paid to Lorient last season. If a full agreement is still to be reached, the Gialorossi could expect to finalise the deal in the next few days.
