Real Madrid staged a remarkable comeback against Valencia at Mestalla, winning the match 2-1 after falling behind.

The game, however, took a dramatic turn when Vinicius Jr. was sent off in the 79th minute for an altercation with Stole Dimitrievski, hitting him off the ball.

This incident sparked an intense reaction from Real Madrid TV, with commentators expressing frustration.

“Only Madrid can stand up to this, to a whole system,” they said.

They accused the entire system of working against them, claiming that Real Madrid had overcome not just Valencia, but also the Spanish Football Federation (CTA) and the wider La Liga establishment.

The broadcasters added that the team had triumphed against “everything and everyone,” referring to the perceived bias they felt throughout the match.

“The refereeing establishment must be very hurt today because we have beaten Valencia, CTA and this filthy La Liga. Against everything and everyone,” they added.

Attacking the officials

Despite the win, the club’s frustration was far from over. On their television broadcast, they continued to criticise the officials and the governing bodies, pointing fingers at what they viewed as unfair treatment.

“As we have seen many times in this league, with these referees and their decisions, a textbook ambush was being prepared. And Madrid have overcome that.”

Furthermore, the commentators blamed the VAR officials for not showing the complete picture. They believe Soto Grado was only shown a part of the incident.

“Soto Grado is offered part of what happened by the VAR, not the whole movie. Dimitrievski’s provocation of Vinicius is not offered to the referee.

“The fact that Soto Grado is called by the VAR and only offered a part of what happened in the play is manipulation, it is distortion and it is adulteration of the competition,” they added.

Calling out Medina Cantalejo

They even went as far as to call out Medina Cantalejo, the head of the refereeing committee, describing the situation as a “black hole” and a “vicious circle” that hindered the club’s progress.

“Now we have time to talk about the black hole, the vicious circle of Medina Cantalejo.”

In their eyes, referees, particularly Clos Gomez and Jose Maria Negreira, were guilty of applying double standards against Real Madrid. “Today we have beaten Clos Gómez and Negreira,” they added.

One of the defining moments of the match came after Vinicius’ red card, when the referee, Grado, reviewed footage of the incident involving Dimitrievski and decided to send him off.

Vinicius, visibly upset, went straight toward the referee, causing a scene. His teammates, Antonio Rudiger and Dani Ceballos, had to intervene and escort him off the pitch to prevent further escalation.
