Real Madrid stars move to heap praise on Arda Güler after win over Dortmund | OneFootball

A whole host of leading members of La Liga giants Real Madrid’s squad were quick to make clear their appreciation for Arda Güler, on the back of the club’s latest outing.

This comes after the Turk conjured up a standout display en route to Los Blancos booking their spot in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup.

Real Madrid were of course back in action late on Saturday night.

After making the trip to MetLife Stadium, Xabi Alonso’s troops locked horns with German heavyweights Borussia Dortmund in a highly-anticipated clash.

The aforementioned Arda Güler for his part featured from the off in the fixture, continuing to act as a key figure under the watch of new boss Alonso.

And the 20-year-old went on to fully repay the faith of his manager with his ensuing performance.

En route to a 3-2 Blancos triumph, Güler shone from his midfield berth, laying on the assists for two of his side’s goals on the evening.

After taking to his official Instagram account to celebrate the result post-match, the likes of Luka Modrić, Dean Huijsen and Thibaut Courtois were in turn quick to make clear both their appreciation and happiness for the thriving Güler:
