The latest round of official club rankings have this week been revealed by European football’s governing body, UEFA.
And they continue to make for altogether positive reading for those of a Real Madrid persuasion.
This comes with Los Blancos, owing to their long-term recent success in European competition, having taken their place in top spot once more.
Next up come German champions Bayern Munich, followed by Inter Milan, Manchester City, and Liverpool.
Elsewhere on the La Liga front, Hansi Flick’s Barcelona are forced to make do with a spot in 9th, despite coming within a whisker of reaching the Champions League final last season.
Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid, meanwhile, sit three places back in 12th, with further Spanish representation coming in 27th, courtesy of Real Sociedad.
The likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Manchester United and AC Milan also feature prominently.
