Pundit says if Chelsea sign Premier League player this window then they will win the league | OneFootball

A pundit has made a big claim about Chelsea this week saying if they sign a certain player they will win the league!

Chelsea are still looking to do some last bits of transfer business and depending on sales, they are looking to bring more new players in the door as well.

Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea looks dead set to happen this window, with Fabrizio Romano putting his latest daily post out on that last night, saying Chelsea have stepped up talks to sign the Manchester United winger.

Chelsea need a new centre back though, especially the fact that key defender Levi Colwill now looks set to miss most of the season due to an ACL injury. But will they sign one? I’m not so sure. Enzo Maresca has made it very clear in public that he wants the club to sign one though.

One player who has been linked a lot with Chelsea is Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, yet there has been no move made yet.

Adrian Durham of talkSPORT believes that if Chelsea signed Marc Guehi this summer then they will win the league.

He said:

“If Chelsea go and get Marc Guehi back from Crystal Palace I think Chelsea probably win the league.”

Not sure I agree

I think Chelsea need a top new goalkeeper to win the league, but they aren’t far away. I don’t think simply adding Guehi would be the difference maker.

He’s a very good defender but I still worry about our goalkeepers as well.
