Ligue 1 leaders PSG face fourth-tier side Saint-Brieuc in the Coupe de France quarter-finals this Wednesday at Rennes’ Roazhon Park. Les Parisiens are the overwhelming favorites to win the competition for a record 16th time as most of the major Ligue 1 teams are already out. PSG are also running away in the Ligue 1 title race as they boast a 13-point lead on second-placed Marseille. Most of the attention now turns towards their Champions League RO16 tie against Liverpool, which starts next Wednesday with the first leg at Parc des Princes.
Fortunately for PSG, head coach Luis Enrique has plenty of options to choose from with most of the injured players now back in the fold. France international midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery is poised to return to the matchday squad. Given tonight’s opposition and Luis Enrique’s rotation policy, the Spaniard is expected to field a slightly rotated squad against the Brittany minnows with Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé all given a breather.
