Paris Saint-Germain are considering various options to strengthen their attack for the second half of the 2024-25 season, with Aston Villa forward Jhon Durán now emerging as a potential target.
In October, Diario AS’s Eduardo Burgos reported that PSG and Bayern Munich both submitted offers for Durán during the summer transfer window, but Aston Villa rejected them.
TEAMtalk reported this week that PSG have contacted Aston Villa to discuss the terms of a potential move for Colombian forward Jhon Durán. The 19-year-old is keen on making the switch to the French capital.
According to the report, Villa are seeking £80 million for Durán, but his representatives are actively working to reduce the asking price to facilitate the transfer.
Moreover, CaughtOffside reported this week that PSG is still evaluating Jhon Durán’s potential and has not yet decided whether to meet Aston Villa’s £60 million asking price for the forward.
The report also reveals that Barcelona, Napoli, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich have all shown interest and inquired about the terms of a potential deal.

MailSport’s Tom Collomosse reported on Saturday that the 21-year-old Colombian is “gettable” to bolster their No. 9 position.
“Whether it’s this window or the summer, PSG believe Duran is gettable and he’s high on their list,” Collomosse said on X. “May prove too tricky in January, especially as Villa would need to replace him, but one to watch.”
Journalist Ben Jacobs has reported that PSG are interested in signing Jhon Durán, but negotiations could be challenging due to Aston Villa’s £80 million asking price. This high valuation reflects Durán’s strong form and a recent contract extension, with Villa only willing to sell for an exceptional offer.
PSG are considering offering Randal Kolo Muani or Marco Asensio as part of the deal, as they believe Durán’s value is approximately £25 million less than Villa’s asking price.
