Seven Premier League stars have been nominated for the January 2025 EA SPORTS Player of the Month award, and you can help decide who wins.

Your vote will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to determine the winner, who will be revealed next week.

EA SPORTS Player of the Month shortlist Phil Foden (Man City) P4 W3 D1 L0 G6 A1 The Manchester City star is the Premier League’s top scorer in January, netting six goals in four appearances, while his seven combined goals and assists are the joint-most of any player. He scored in a win over West Ham United, got a brace of goals in a draw at Brentford got a goal and an assist in a victory over Ipswich Town and Foden ended the month with a goal in a win over Chelsea – meaning he scored in four consecutive Premier League matches for the first time.

Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) P4 W2 D2 L0 G3 A1 The Dutchman scored pivotal goals in Liverpool’s pursuit of the title, netting the Reds’ first goal in a 2-2 draw against Manchester United and scoring twice as well as providing an assist for Mohamed Salah in the 4-1 win over Ipswich. His goal against Ipswich meant Gakpo became the first Dutch player to score in six successive home starts in the league, surpassing Ruud van Nistelrooy and Robin van Persie’s best such streaks.

Dean Huijsen (Bournemouth) P4 W3 D1 L0 G0 A0 CS2 The teenage centre-half, 19, was a rock at the heart of AFC Bournemouth’s defence, helping them to wins over Everton, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest, and a draw at Chelsea, in an unbeaten month. The Spaniard’s nine blocks and 10 interceptions are the second and third-most respectively across all players in the league in January.

Alexander Isak (Newcastle) P4 W3 D0 L1 G5 A1 The winner of December 2024’s award continued his excellent form with five goals and one assist in another outstanding month. The Swedish forward netted the winner in a 2-1 success at Tottenham Hotspur, following up with two goals against Wolverhampton Wanderers – against whom he also produced an assist for Anthony Gordon – and a brace at Southampton.

Justin Kluivert (Bournemouth) P4 W3 D1 L0 G5 A2 Kluivert’s seven goal involvements in January were the joint-most of all players as the Dutchman helped to maintain Bournemouth’s pursuit of a European spot. The Cherries’ 12 goals scored was second only to the 15 of Man City as Kluivert netted in three of the Cherries’ four matches, including a stunning hat-trick at Newcastle.

Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace) P4 W2 D1 L1 G4 A0 The Frenchman’s four goals across the month took his tally to 21 in 36 Premier League appearances since Oliver Glasner was appointed Palace head coach nearly a year ago. Only three top-flight players have scored more often in that period. Mateta scored in a draw with Chelsea and in a win at Leicester, while he scored both of his side’s goals in a 2-0 victory at West Ham.

Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford) P5 W2 D1 L2 G4 A1 The Cameroonian attacker was a key figure with five goal involvements for Brentford. He started the month with the opener against Arsenal, then scored twice and provided an assist in the Bees’ 5-0 beating of Southampton – their first away win of the season – before finishing the month with a penalty in a 2-1 success at Palace. Mbeumo created 13 chances in January, with only three players producing more.
