Best Lazio player: Romagnoli 7 – Broke the deadlock with a towering header after seeing Svilar frustrate his attempt in the first half. Fifth goal in 2024-25, perhaps the most important.

Lowest Lazio rating: Castellanos 5 – Clearly not fully fit yet. The Argentine forward is not in his best shape after recovering from a tricky muscle injury. He only made 15 touches in more than 70 minutes on the pitch, missing three passes from seven (via Sofascore).

Lazio coach: Baroni 6.5 – Lazio had the best chances to win the game, yet again, it was not enough to take all three points. The Biancocelesti remain in the race for the top four, just like their city rivals.

Roma: Svilar 8; Celik 6.5, Mancini 5.5, Ndicka 6; Saelemaekers 6.5 (88′ Rensch N/A), Koné 6.5, Paredes 5.5 (46′ Cristante 6), Angelino 5.5; Soulé 7 (88′ El Shaarawy N/A), Lorenzo Pellegrini 5 (59′ Shomurodov 6); Dovbyk 5 (84′ Baldanzi N/A). Coach: Ranieri 6.

Best Roma player: Svilar 8 – At least three big saves to keep Roma in the game, but he could do nothing to avoid Romagnoli’s opener. Overall, he performed four saves from inside the box, and the distribution was also excellent with 12 accurate passes from 14. A complete goalkeeper.

Lowest Roma rating: Pellegrini 5 – The Roma captain slipped seconds before Lazio’s goal with Luca Pellegrini’s cross flying above his head. He had broken the deadlock in the reverse fixture, but this time around, he struggled to make an impact. Only 20 touches and one key pass. No big chances created. Perhaps his last derby.

Roma coach: Ranieri 6 – The 73-year-old once again avoided defeat in his final Rome derby. He has never lost a game against Lazio as a Roma coach. This time around, the Giallorossi were clinical in converting one of the few chances they created. They’ll probably be happier than Lazio, even if they haven’t progressed much in the standings.
