Photo: Agent of Artem Dovbyk confirms striker’s transfer switch to Roma

Girona striker Artem Dovbyk is on the verge of completing a transfer switch to Roma after the two clubs sealed an agreement this evening.

The Ukrainian striker is set to join Roma for a transfer fee worth an estimated €39 million total. He is set to fly to the Italian capital tomorrow to undergo his medical with the club and sign his long-term contract.

In the meantime, Dovbyk’s agent, Alex Liundovskyi, confirmed the completion of the deal on his personal Instagram account by publishing a photo of the striker’s new kit with Roma.

Interestingly, Dovbyk was promised the number 9 shirt—which is currently being occupied by Tammy Abraham, who’s been heavily linked with a transfer move away from the Giallorossi this summer.
